Critiques
The flowers are obviously very beautiful, with vibrant colors, and you caught that well. The details are also very crisp, I can see the little spots in between all the petals.
However, what I think really makes this photo is that it's just so warm and inviting. The way the flowers melt into the background, smoothly and unobtrusively, really helps guide the eyes into the background. Now, the background is absolutely perfect for this. I'm not sure what you could've used for this, maybe just a brown sheet or cloth or something, but the color of the background works so well together with the red to just create a warm feeling. That particular shade of brown is a very warm color, and an excellent choice for this.
Altogether, a fantastic job.
A very beautiful photo, with great composition, colors and pleasing details. I'm a huge fan of the color of the background, as it not only works harmoniously with the reds and yellows, but goes on to enhance the greens. To top it off, the sharp edges of the petals retain the eye catching shape of the flowers, prompting the observer to take a closer look.
I tend to worry about the amount of black in a photo, but here the dark colors simply draw attention to the vibrancy of the flowers.
All in all, a beautiful, warm photo. Great work dear!
